Features of Aluminum Formwork Systems For Residential Use

Lightweight and Easy to Handle
With a density of only 2.7 g/cm³ (about one-third that of steel at 7.85 g/cm³), aluminum formwork weighs just 20–50 kg per panel. This lightweight design allows manual handling, assembly, and disassembly without heavy lifting equipment, reducing labor intensity and equipment costs. The low weight also improves installation speed and is ideal for fast-paced residential and mid- to high-rise projects.

Excellent Reusability
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a 4.0 mm thick panel, the system can be reused over 300 times with proper maintenance. This far exceeds the lifespan of wooden (5–8 times) and steel formwork (50–100 times). Its long service life comes from the fatigue resistance, surface hardening, and protective oxide layer that shield the material from alkaline concrete and mechanical wear, lowering overall project costs.

Strong Corrosion Resistance
A natural oxide film (0.002–0.01 mm thick) forms on aluminum, and anodizing increases it to 5–15 μm for greater density and bonding strength. This protective layer prevents rust, peeling, and surface corrosion even in humid or alkaline environments, ensuring stable performance and high-quality concrete finishes over time.

High Dimensional Consistency
All panels are processed by CNC cutting and forming, maintaining a size tolerance within ±0.5 mm. MIG/TIG welding ensures strong, defect-free joints, verified through non-destructive testing to eliminate cracks or pores. This precision guarantees rigid, stable formwork that prevents misalignment, wall cracks, or vertical deviation, improving the overall structural quality of residential construction.
